Patent Prosecution Highway Programs between China and Korea as well as between China and Austria have been extended since March 01, 2016

The patent prosecution highway program (PPH) between the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) of China and Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) has started on March 01, 2012. The PPH between SIPO and the Austrian Patent Office has started on March 01, 2013. Originally, the PPH between SIPO and KIPO as well as the PPH between SIPO and the Austrian Patent Office are to end on February 29, 2016. However, starting on March 01, 2016, the PPH between SIPO and KIPO has been extended indefinitely and the PPH between SIPO and the Austrian Patent Office has been extended for another two years until February 28, 2018. All relevant requirements and procedures remain unchanged.
